Parkside Badminton Club was set up in January 2007 after the closure of Meadowside Sports Centre in Kidbrooke.

With a small number of members, it was decided to aim higher and to establish the club properly with the ambition to run badminton classes of all levels.

 

We are affiliated with Badminton England and join the local leagues as needed.

We are a fun, sociable club, welcoming players of all standards.  We cater for those who wish to play socially as well as those who wish to play more advanced badminton and the desire to play in leagues.

The Club is run by a small committee consisting of an elected Chair, Treasurer and Club Secretary, as well as other co-opted committee members.

We do not operate a booking system app, we prefer to allow our players the opportunity to turn up when it suits them. New guest players are required to contact the Committee on parksidebcinfo@gmail.com before attending the club. Guests are welcome to play 4 times before being required to take club membership which also comes with significant savings on session fees.
